The Man in Pew Three is about obedience, humility, and forgiveness. A pastor’s son believes that his dad’s dream is for him to be his successor to the family church. But upon the father’s demise, the son’s life is a rollercoaster ride of spiritual struggles when the pastor’s Last Will & Testament stipulates the son must marry within one year to inherit his estate. The darkness of death engulfs the son while he must confront the deacon, bishop, and the eleven committee members. At the same time, the son must still provide leadership for a bunch of stiff-necked and complaining folk. He cries out to the Lord for Him to send the Helper God promised the late pastor to send on his deathbed. The church is under seized by false prophets. The sheep in wolf clothing that the apostle warns about in the Book of Acts, saying that “savage wolves” would “arise and distort the truth,” even from within the church.
